Well, some people are definitely using the dead link to report inappropriate content. This is fair, because we haven't given them another way to report inappropriate materials. But this was just a lot of artists' sites, which were up and running, and some of them were pretty good stuff. I wouldn't take it personally; there's always one who needs to mess with stuff.

Here's what happens when you submit a dead link report: I go in, review the link, and either dismiss the report, or delete the link.

If you see inappropriate materials, folks, for the remaining week or so, feel free to send me an email rather than reporting it dead. We'll have a plan in place VERY SOON, and i really love hearing from y'all.

Keep connecting.

I find it quite interesting how there are some folks out there who are, seemingly, trying to "game" the system. I can't tell if its that, or if there are just a bunch of terribly mis-informed over what the function is for. i mean, please tell me we aren't dealing with people who are *that* stupid.

Sheesh, all one has to do is read the FAQ. Yeah, in the FAQ not only would these clueless little twerps figure out that they aren't actually changing anything. Hell, it would only take about 18 seconds to reset all of the dead links reports (completely invalidating all of the effort these lunkheads put in) in the database... so its not like there's even any vandalism occurring.
